Martha Wood joined AMS Planning & Research in 1998 as a Library Administrator in the Connecticut office, where she manages the database for AMS’s project and reference-related information. Martha continues to expand and update the AMS database, which is not only a list of performing arts facilities of all types, but contains information regarding operating structures, financial analysis, rental rates, performance activity, attendance data and more.
Martha assists in all aspects of ensuring a smooth transition for new, participating centers and new users on the PACSTATSsm website. She answers client inquiries and assists with technical aspects of the platform. Martha plays a significant role in insuring the integrity of PACSTATSsm data.
Prior to AMS, Martha worked in the corporate offices of two Fortune 500 companies, where her jobs gave her a wide range of knowledge on how the business world operates. She has worked in Corporate Tax, Credit and Collections, Building Facility Services, and Corporate Accounting, which led to an Accountant position for Xerox’s Real Estate Development Division. While working full-time, she attended undergraduate courses at Fairfield University in Business and Accounting.
Along with Martha’s background and the experience acquired during her years at AMS, she has become an integral part of the administrative staff in supporting our consultants with current projects.
