Laurie
Reich Veillette is
a Research Analyst in the Connecticut office. She holds
a BA in Economics from the University of Massachusetts. Laurie
began her career working in forensic economics at Applied
Economics, Inc. then moved into the investment strategy industry
as a Researcher for H.C. Wainwright & Co., Economics,
Inc. -- both located in Boston. While at Wainwright,
Laurie maintained data files, generated statistical analyses
and created graphics for publication. During this time
she continued her academic studies at Suffolk University.
Upon
her arrival in Connecticut, Laurie started Reich-Veillette
Consulting, a home-based business, where she assisted the
Danbury Regional Catholic School System in generating financial
reports, and worked for H.C. Wainwright & Co., Economics
and Intermarket Forecasting, Inc., producing graphic representations
of data analyses. After four years, she closed up shop
and entered the world of emergency medical services, where
she became and continues to enjoy work as a volunteer EMT
and Red Cross Instructor. As a member of her Town’s
Ambulance Corps., she assisted in research for introducing
a full-time paramedic in-Town and authored an analysis of
area EMS systems for comparative record. These reports
aided in the implementation of the Town’s current paramedic
service. In 2005, Laurie joined a local credit union
as a Marketing Specialist. Her responsibilities included
web site design/maintenance and design/implementation of
member outreach programs.
In
January 2007, she completed a Master’s Certificate
in Business Analysis from Villanova University and in February,
joined AMS Planning & Research.
